Youll probably find the hanging problem is down to AllegroCDFS not the Flyer.
I own the Elbox 4xEIDE interface and with Allegro installed, the system locks often
especially when changing cds and sometimes tryingto play audio tracks.
I doubt belive the flyer is at fault just the didgy CDFS (its not as fast as it claims to
be anyway)
The solution, well in my case it was to revert back to CacheCDFS which i also used with the idefix
adapter and software. Although in this case im using the OS35/39 version now. It is faster then Allegro,
its just a case of having a good cd cache setup :)
